2nd World Forum on Urban Forests Pre-Forum Exploring Strategies towards Inclusive Cities

In preparation of the 2nd World Forum on Urban Forests, which will be held in Washington D.C. from 16 to 20 October, the organisers announce a series of Pre-Forum Webinars that are intended to set the stage and provide a preview of all the exciting discussions that will take place during this 5-day event.
After the first two webinars on health and resilience whose recondings can be found here the third one will be dedicated to delve into the synergies of grassroots movements, governmental policies, community influences, and enterprise solutions aimed at enhancing access to the benefits of high-quality urban green spaces. Arjen Buijs (University of Wageningen), Natalie Gulsrud (University of Copenhagen), Charlie Shackleton (Rhodes University) and Alexis Vásquez (University of Chile) will explore how these varied efforts converge to empower disadvantaged communities, ensuring their valuable role in urban decision-making.
