Silva Mediterranea call for contribution aimed to revised its working plan
The Silva Mediterranea Secretariat is proposing to revise the current work plan with the aim of focusing the work on activities that are more relevant for the members of the Working Group. With the new renovation, the activities will be grouped under three main areas of work:
- Project formulation
- Knowledge management
- Networking and information sharing
To do so, a questionnaire broadly addressed to stakeholders in order to collect inputs has been published to:
- Identify members interested in taking the lead of ongoing activities currently on hold (further information on ongoing activities can be found here: http://www.fao.org/forestry/silva-mediterranea/88929/en/);
- Identify new activities that the members of the Working Group find relevant to implement and that they volunteer to lead.
Based on the inputs received, the Secretariat will then compile the list of activities planned for 2023-2024 and will share it with all the members of the Working Group to explore their interest to contribute. Those activities for which there is no longer an interest will be removed from the work plan.
Deadline for providing inputs: Friday, 31 March 2023
