This workshop will cover methodologies and applications to measure sap flow in plants. Link to the
hydraulic system and water relations will be examined. New methods will be displayed, and recent
improvements to existing techniques will be discussed. Contributions to the use of sap flow are
expected to span from the understanding of physiological processes to the development of new
approaches for improving management practices both in forestry and agriculture.
