The course includes:
– Theoretical lessons about the principles of chlorophyll fluorescence: prompt, modulated and delayed fluorescence; P700. The meaning of the fluorescence parameters.
– The relationships between chlorophyll fluorescence parameters and net photosynthesis.
– The use and the informative potential of the commercial instruments for the assessment of the fluorescence of chlorophyll and other compounds (polyphenols).
– The applications of chlorophyll fluorescence.
– Field exercises and principles of elaboration.
– Presentations from the participants.
The fee (to be established) includes: Lunches and Coffee Breaks; Didactic material
The course is directed to: PhD students, post doc, fellow students, young scientist and all that are interested in developing chlorophyll fluorescence techniques.
The course is limited to 20 participants.
Participants are asked to bring their instruments.
All those interested are asked to made a preliminary registration by sending an e-mail to a member of the Scientific Committee before the 15 june 2010.
