*** The 8th International Workshop on Sap Flow ***

The workshop is organized by the International Society for Horticultural Science and will cover methodologies and applications to measure sap flow in plants, and how these measurements can be used to better understand physiological processes, mainly those related to water use and water consumption.

New methods will be displayed, and recent improvements to existing methods will be discussed.

Contributions to the use of sap flow are expected to span the understanding of physiological processes to the development of new approaches for improving management practices both in forestry and agriculture.

The 8th International Workshop on Sap Flow (May 8th-12th, 2011) will be held in Volterra, Italy and is organised by:
