5th International Conference on Mediterranean Pines (MEDPINE_5)

Dear colleague,

We are very happy to announce that the “5th International Conference on Mediterranean Pines (MEDPINE_5)” will be held in Solsona (Spain) from 22th to 26th September 2014. The event will be co-organized by the Forest Sciences Center of Catalonia (CTFC) and the National Institute for Agriculture Forest Research Centre (INIA) in close collaboration with the Centre for Ecological Research and Forestry Applications (CREAF).

The cycle of MEDPINE conferences was born in 1999 with the aim of bringing together researchers of all disciplines studying Mediterranean pines. Advancing in the understanding of the vulnerability and adaptive mechanisms of these ecosystems to the different components of global change constitutes the main objective of this edition!
