The FEM International Research School-Trentino, FIRS>T, of the Fondazione Edmund Mach in San Michele all’Adige (Italy) is offering up to 21 PhD fellowships in the fields of:
- Environment
- Agriculture
- Food
- Computational and Systems Biology
Well-motivated and highly-qualified students who have, or are expecting to obtain a Master or equivalent degree in a field relevant to the research undertaken within the FIRS>T Programme, are invited to submit their application on-line. Strong interest in the field and flexibility in the research project are also prerequisites for application.
Fellowships include a salary of 20.000 Euro per year (before taxes), which is provided for 3 years with the possibility to extend it for 1 more year. Other financial supports are granted for periods abroad, travelling, University fees and conference and courses attendance. Each project is developed as collaboration between the Fondazione Edmund Mach and a partner institution. The main location will be FEM and at least one year of the PhD fellowship will be spent at the partner institute.
The official working language is English. The deadline for applications is July 20th, 2012.
