The University of Bolzano opened a postdoc position for the project Recovering after Vaia for the Reconstruction of a More Resilient Forest in Trentino (REFOREST).

This position will be funded for 24 months, with an expected start date around December 15, 2024. Yearly Gross Salary: 32097,58 euro (Yearly Net: around 28500,00 euro ).

The postdoc will focus on the estimation of forest structure and species composition, utilizing both remote sensing and field data, and will collaborate with AVT Airborne Sensing Italia.

This is an opportunity for someone holding a PhD, with experience in remote sensing, forest ecology, biodiversity and a background in forestry, botany and related fields.
