Senior Scientist (m/f) for forest genetics
Work description :
- Science and research
- Identification and integration of relevant scientific developments in the research field (e.g. emerging technologies, system breaks)
- Conception and planning of mid-term strategic research agenda
- Conception, management and acquisition of medium to large scale research projects
- Transfer of scientific results to applications (patents, licences, political measures)
- Research project management
- Development/establishment of a working group
- Acquisition, scientific and financial management of medium-sized and large research projects
- Key account for customers and customer groups Requirements:
- Completed PhD (genetics)
- Several years of professional experience (university or industry)
- Experience in project acquisition and project management and good scientific track record
- Good internal and external networking (research-related and customer-related)
- Enthusiasm for unconventional solutions, creativity and progressive thinking
Salary:
The definite classification or remuneration occurs corresponding to qualifications and previous experiences. The annual gross salary is at least EUR 45.822,00 per year according to the Research CA.
